To get your clothes just right, we have a 3-layer safety net to stop any potential errors getting through: 1. our tried & tested measuring process, 2. our tailors' expertise, and 3. our hands-on quality check. Find out more below...
We want you to have complete peace of mind. So when you place your order, we only ask for 50% of the total price. When the items have arrived safely and you've confirmed you're happy with them, you can pay us the remaining 50%.
If, somehow, our safety net fails us and unfortunately you find that an aspect of your garment doesn't fit as it should, you can have it altered for free.
Give us a call and let us know, then take your item to a local tailor (with our apologies for the inconvenience of having to do so), and send us the bill for reimbursement.
If alterations aren't a viable solution, we will give you your money back. Just send your item to our UK returns centre and we'll issue you a refund and reimbursement for the postage.
Our measuring process is the end product of our working with numerous tailoring experts, studying the methods they use and streamlining the most accurate way to take the measurements we need for your clothes.
As you can see from the video in Our Fit Guide (upload pending), there are some particular tips & tricks we've learned that will ensure a perfect fit. If you can bear these in mind when taking your measurements, we can be sure those figures will be the same as they would be if we were able to measure you in person.
Our designers & tailors have decades of experience in what is their life's work. This means when they look at a list of measurements, they don't just see numbers - they see a person, and cuts of fabric. Their craft is second nature to them, so if there is a discrepancy in the measurements, they will be able to spot it.
How do we know? We were our first customers! We took a list of measurements to our master tailor, and had him make a suit for Jack without measuring him. On purpose, we got one of the measurements wrong by 2 inches, and when he saw the list, that error stood out to him like a sore thumb. Because he had seen Jack, even though he hadn't measured him himself, he had a clear understanding of his requirements. This is why we request full length photos of yourself - front, back and side - because once our tailor has seen you, he can visualise the ratios he needs to work by and combine that with the numbers you provide, to ensure your fit.
We take a personal interest in your order from start to finish.
We will take your measurements ourselves. No inputting numbers on this website! We can arrange a video call at a time convenient for you, to talk and walk you through the measuring process step by step. That way, the pressure to get those measurements exactly right isn't on your shoulders - it's where it rightly is, on ours. We'll be able to see for ourselves that the figures are accurate, and also get a super clear idea of what you have in mind.
Once your clothes are finished, we will personally check that the measurements were followed to the millimetre. In the unlikely event that they haven't been due to human error, we will have the issue rectified before we're sure it's perfect and ready to send to you - even if it means starting from scratch!
We have zero interest in making you clothes that don't fit properly. The motivation behind this company is to give you access to clothes specifically designed to fit you personally. To that end, we've honed a tried & tested process to take your measurements precisely, we work with a master tailor so that your clothes are carefully made according to them, and we personally make rigorous quality checks before your items are sent to you. This triple-layer safety net should prevent you from any disappointment when your order arrives.
We don't want you to be anything but happy with your clothes, so if you are, we will want to know! Get in touch and we'll explain that there will be two options open to you. 1) You can take your items to your local tailor and have us reimburse you for the needed alterations. 2) Send your items to our UK returns centre and we will issue you a full refund.
At a time convenient for you, we can give you a video call and take your measurements live. All you need is a tape measure, a friend, and your device. If you could wear a shirt and pair of trousers you like the fit of, that would be helpful. Then we can talk you through how to take each measurement we need, and we'll be able to see for ourselves that it's taken accurately. You could even watch our helpful video beforehand so you know what to expect.
Your fabric will be sourced by ourselves and transformed into your desired items by our local expert tailors here in Delhi, India.
If we have the fabric of your choice in stock, your clothes can be made within 2 weeks. If you would like us to source fabric for you, we may need more time. We'll be able to confirm the expected ready date during our first consultation with you, and after that, you'll receive regular updates throughout the process. Delivery estimates will vary according to your location, but we can also confirm that when you talk to us to place your order.
Your clothes will be handmade, but by expert tailors with decades of experience in their craft. We only work with tailors whose handiwork we tried for ourselves first, and because we were impressed by their craftsmanship, we asked them to be part of our team. We will receive your finished items ourselves and carry out a rigorous quality check before we send them to you, so that we leave no room for disappointment.
We take payment by bank transfer. When you place your order with us, we will confirm the total cost. We kindly ask for payment of 50% of that cost within 24 hours of ordering. When your items are delivered to you, please try them on as soon as possible and let us know whether you're happy with them. If you are, please pay the remaining 50% of the cost within 48 hours. If you are not fully satisfied, we can discuss whether some minor alterations are needed, free of cost to you, or whether you would prefer to return the items and receive a refund for the amount you have already paid.
Please feel free to ask! Contact us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
